The Royal Academy presents an exhibition of spectacular masterpieces from one of the finest art collections in Central Europe whose nucleus is formed by the exceptional Old Master paintings and drawings collection built up by the Esterházy princes.

Selected works by artists including Leonardo da Vinci, Raphael, El Greco, Rubens, Goya, Manet, Monet, Schiele, Gauguin and Picasso will be on display, many of which have not previously been shown in the UK.

Ma erkezett hirlevelben a Royal Academy of Arts oszi programja, valahol a kozepen bukkant fel Budapest neve es akkor neztem oda alaposabban. De milyen vidam dolog ez mar, hogy otthon mindennek csak toredeket lattam, vagy szetszorva, vagy kutyafuttaban. Egyetlen dologra vagyok kivancsi, vajon milyen okos kis tajekoztatot fognak osszehozni a kiallitasszervezok. Eddig akarhany kiallitason jartam, a tajekoztato anyagok mind magas szinvonaluak voltak, informativak, szorakoztatoak es nem sok kivetellel erosen tanito jelleguek. Ez az, ami markansan kulonbozik a magyar muzeumi elettol. Hat most elgondolkoztam egy pillanatra, vajon foglaljak-e jegyet erre a kiallitasra, vagy ne.
